Knödel

Knödel is a special type of cooked dessert that is present in Central European and Eastern European cuisine. It is traditionally round and sweet in taste, made of potato dough (some recipes use rice dough), stuffed with a pitted plum, and coated with bread crumbs and sugar.
The dough base for our Knödel is made from a carefully selected combination of potato varieties and special flour mixes. Apart from the traditional plum filling, we have a wide array of other flavors – sweet and salty, and we also provide special crumbs for coating.

Preparation

The frozen Knödels are easy and fast to prepare. They are cooked in boiling water for about 6 minutes and when done, they are rolled in bread crumbs that are provided in the package.
That is all it takes to make the Knödels ready for serving, and for a more creative taste, Knödels can be decorated with topping or ice-cream.
